FAQs

Can I have a free trial session?

At Kickstart it’s all about the enjoyment, so we go beyond that and offer our money back guarantee. If you get to the end of your first session and it proves not suitable for you, just let your coach know or within 24 hours of your first session notify us via email and we’ll refund you in full for this first session. We are confident after your first Kickstart session that you’ll be looking forward to the next one.

Can we just turn up and pay?

You’ll need to book and join before you arrive at your session. This way we’ll know you are coming and you’ll coach will be ready to greet you. This also enables the sessions are as safe and organised as possible. Find the relevant session and book on.

Are the sessions indoors or outdoors?

Almost all of our sessions are indoors but we do run some outside. All sessions are indoors throughout the winter as maximum enjoyment is key. So please contact us if you are unsure on where your session is.

What footwear does my child need to wear?

Most of our session are indoors, so normal trainers are fine but we do ask that the soles are clean from mud.

Can girls join in?

Absolutely, the female game is growing rapidly in the UK and we are also want to help aid that process.

When do Kickstart sessions take place?

All of our sessions are term time only. Therefore there are no sessions during the Christmas, Easter and summer holidays, as well as the October, February & May half terms.

Can I book for later in the year?

Unfortunately not as we can’t guarantee a place will still be available as we are dependent upon filling sessions that are paid for.

My child is younger or older than the advertised session age groups can I still bring them?

Unfortunately not, for safety and insurance we can’t accept children outside of the session age range.

Do I have to stay for the session?

Each child must have an adult guardian with them, who will be responsible for toilet trips etc for that child. When a child is in a FUNdamentals session (and is settled), we may sometimes agree to you arranging for another child’s parent to assume responsibility for your child. However, this is at the Coaches' discretion and must be agreed first. Please note that if you arrange this, neither the Licensed Coach nor Kickstart Evolution Ltd accepts responsibility for the other parent’s ability to fulfil that role.

Do I need to participate in the session myself?

If your child is joining Footy Tots, the adult guardian will need to work alongside their child until they have developed the essential core skills and are able to listen and follow the coaches instructions. You will not need any specific football skills, but we do recommend that you wear soft-soled flat shoes.

How does the subscription work?

Your monthly subscription amount will be taken on the 1st of each month. The subscription will remain in place whilst you are a member of Kickstart. You can cancel your membership at any time with written confirmation. There will be a 28 day cancelation period from the date of the received cancelation request. If you join mid month you will incur a covering payment for the remainder of that month. For example if you join on 15th September you would pay (50 % of monthly fee) for September then pay plus the usual amount a month from October.

How do we cancel our subscription?

You can cancel your membership/Subscription at any time with written email confirmation. There will be a 28 day cancelation period from the date of the received cancelation request. During the 28 cancelation period you are still able to attend your sessions and any monthly subscriptions that are due within the 28 days will still be taken.

Do I have to re-enrol at the end of each term?

No, you don’t have to worry about that, your place is secure with us and will continue until you choose to cancel.
